Silk Painting Exhibition Showcases Reynolds' Fleeting Moments

Nadine Reynolds' silk paintings feature in a new exhibition, Affect / Effect, that will be on display at Goombungee's Rosalie Gallery from March 6-28, 2024.

The exhibition brings together a collection of four series of works - Little Rocks, At Home, Do You Know Your Place? and Meeting Place.

Together they explore ways of capturing fleeting moments and memories, highlighting the significance of transient experiences.

Working across mixed media, including en plein air sketches, embroidery and silk painting, Nadine creates works that move with the viewer, alluding to flow and change.

Her layered works are personal records of who she has met; where she has been; what she has seen and ultimately how these things have affected her.
