A Morayfield single dad has secured his son's future after scoring $20,000 a month for the next 20 years.
The Moreton Bay resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Set for Life draw 3876, drawn Tuesday 17 March 2026. He can look forward to a $4.8 million prize, paid in monthly instalments of $20,000 over 20 years.
When we called the hardworking winner this morning, he was caught completely off guard by the life-changing news.
"Oh frick! I won!" he cheered.
"Wow! You're kidding! I don't know what to say. I'm speechless.
"I'm just at work at the moment. I was not expecting this at all. I went to bed early last night so I didn't even check my ticket.
"What a blessing. I'm a single dad so to be honest, I'm happy to use every part of the prize for my son and to set up his life.
"I already work two jobs and it's all for him. He's my world.
"Wow. I'm so grateful. I'm a chill person but I'm pretty hyped right now.
"Thank you so much!"
