A car crashed into a sinkhole at Hyde Park this morning.
About 5.30am on Sunday 11 January, the Kia van was exiting a driveway from a house on Park Street, Hyde Park, when the road opened up beneath it.
The front wheels of the car sunk deep into the sinkhole. Fortunately, there were no injuries to the two occupants of the car.
MFS and SES crews attended to assist and try to prevent neighbouring properties from flooding.
Park Street will be closed to all traffic while SA Water repair the infrastructure.
