Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a crash involving an allegedly stolen vehicle in Epping early this morning.
Police spotted an allegedly stolen Haval driving at speed in the vicinity of Church Street in Whittlesea about 1am.
Officers lost sight of the vehicle.
Air Wing spotted the Haval allegedly driving at speed once again in the vicinity of Plenty Road in South Morang about 1.20am.
Police successfully deployed stop sticks on Bellevue Boulevard, while awaiting updates from the Air Wing monitoring from above.
The chopper continued monitoring the Havel as it sped through Epping before rolling near the entrance of the Hume Freeway on O'herns Road.
All six occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries, where they remain under police guard.
The occupants were three 17-year-old boys from the Whittlesea area, two 16-year-old boys from the Hume area and a 19-year-old Seymour woman.
It is alleged the Haval was stolen during an aggravated burglary from an address on Starboard Drive in Doreen during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
