Six times over in Sale

A woman has lost her licence after being detected almost six times over the over the blood alcohol limit in Sale yesterday evening.

Police responded to reports of an erratic driver in Sale about 8pm and located the red Nissan X-Trail after it crashed into a garage at a Patten Street residence.

The driver of the car, a Sale woman in her 50's, returned a reading of .297.

Two teenage children who were in the car were uninjured.

The woman's licence was immediately suspended, she is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and other traffic related offences.
