Inquiries are continuing after a six-year-old girl was critically injured in a single-vehicle crash near Lithgow this afternoon.
About 3.35pm (Wednesday 6 March 2019), emergency services attended a crash on Sunny Corner Road, Portland.
A woman and three girls, two aged four and the other six, were in the car at the time.
The six-year-old girl was taken to Westmead Children's Hospital in a critical condition.
The woman and the two four-year-old girls were taken to Westmead Hospital and The Children's Hospital at Westmead respectively.
Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit are conducting inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash, and are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
