Sixth person charged over Eagle Vale stabbing

An 18-year-old woman is the sixth person to be charged as investigations into the stabbing of a man at Eagle Vale last month continue.

Just before 3.30pm on Sunday 2 May 2021, emergency services were called to a sporting complex on Eagle Vale Drive following reports of a brawl and located a man with multiple stab wounds.

The man, aged 21, was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he underwent surgery and has since been released.

Following inquiries, an 18-year-old woman attended Campbelltown Police Station today (Thursday 17 June 2021) where she was arrested.

She was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, tamper with evidence with intent to mislead judicial tribunal and conceal serious offence.

She was refused bail and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court today (Thursday 17 June 2021).

Investigations are ongoing.
