Police have located and charged a third person in relation to a shooting incident in Slacks Creek on Sunday, 21 September.
Around 8.19am, it is alleged three offenders entered a residence, stole property and discharged a firearm.
A 35-year-old man received a gunshot wound to the leg during the incident and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Following ongoing investigations, police located a 28-year-old Mothar Mountain woman yesterday, 28 September.
She has been charged with two counts of robbery armed/in company/wounded/used personal violence, as well as one count each of enter dwelling with intent by break uses/threatens violence whilst armed in company, acts intended to cause GBH, dangerous conduct of a weapon and wilful damage.
The woman is due to appear in Gympie Magistrates Court today, 29 September.
A 37-year-old Gympie man and a 47-year-old Victory Heights have also been charged with two counts of armed robbery with violence, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, assaults occasioning bodily harm whilst armed, enter dwelling with intent, dangerous conduct with a weapon, wilful damage, and carry dangerous goods in vehicle.
All matters are now before the courts.
