The Mornington Peninsula community can look forward to smoother, safer journeys, with the Shire's annual Road Resurfacing and Rehabilitation Program (RRRP) now underway.

This year, Council is investing $5.3 million in road renewal, supported by an additional $2 million from the Federal Government's Roads to Recovery program. Works will be delivered across more than 30 local roads in 2025/26, improving safety, extending the life of our road network and reducing future maintenance needs.

Some works, including Uralla Road, Mount Martha, are already underway or completed. Upcoming works include:

  • Wooralla Drive, Mount Eliza
  • Canadian Bay Road, Mount Eliza
  • Old White Hill Road, Dromana
  • Point Leo Road, Point Leo
  • Verdon Street, Dromana
  • Heales Street, Dromana
  • Coryule Street, Shoreham.

The program will roll out in stages across the Peninsula through to mid-2026, helping minimise disruption.

With more than 1,450 kilometres of sealed local roads to manage, the RRRP will renew more than 200,000 square metres of road this year.
