Solo impounded in Caroline Springs

Eagle eyed officers from Caroline Springs intercepted a blue Yamaha solo this morning (13 March).

Police spotted the bike on Caroline Springs Boulevard as it pulled into a convenience store car park about 12.15am.

The rider entered the store with quick footed police in tow who spoke with the man.

Police found the man to be in possession of an alleged quantity of drugs.

The 26-year-old Tarneit man was also an disqualified rider and the bike, which he had borrowed from a friend, was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $878.50

He was arrested and has been charged with drug and traffic related offences and was bailed to appear at Sunshine Magistrates' Court on 30 July.
