One person has today tested positive for COVID-19. There have now been a total of 429 cases in South Australia.
Today's case is a person in their 20s. To date, 225 people have been cleared of COVID-19.
There have been three reported deaths in South Australia from COVID-19.
Seven people aged between 52 and 77 are currently in intensive care at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, of which four are in a critical condition and three are stable.
There are two separate clusters linked to 40 people that remain under investigation in the Barossa Valley, and travel in or out of the Barossa should still be limited. Anyone who was in the Barossa from Saturday 14 March 2020 who develops symptoms should immediately self-isolate and be tested.
Investigations are ongoing into the cluster of cases identified at Adelaide Airport, linked to 34 people. Further investigations have found cases in another type of airport worker. Anyone who is sick with symptoms of COVID-19 and has been at the Adelaide Airport, including in the terminal or car park, since Tuesday 17 March should present for testing.
There are 89 cases in SA linked to the Ruby Princess cruise ship, which is the biggest cluster in cases. SA Pathology has undertaken more than 36,000 tests for COVID-19 so far.
