    Vaccination update

Currently 94.6% of eligible South Australians aged 12+ have received their first dose of the vaccine and 91.3% have received their second dose. Boosters have been administered to 60.2% of eligible South Australians and 43.2% of South Australians aged 16+.

    COVID-19 modelling

New modelling has been released today by Professor Joshua Ross and Dr Thomas Prowse and is available on the SA Health website.

The University of Adelaide/SAHMRI SACOVID-Ready modelling: Planning for lifting of activity restrictions contains information and analysis using data up to 26th January 2022.

The restrictions that were ultimately lifted on January 29 are estimated to represent less than a 13% increase to the transmission rate. The impact will continue to be monitored ahead of any further lifting of restrictions.
