Southern suburbs chemist breaks

Police are investigating two southern suburbs chemist breaks which occurred in the early hours of this morning.

About 4am on Sunday 23 April, police responded to alarm activations at a chemist on Marion Road, Marion.

Police discovered the glass door had been smashed however nothing appeared to be stolen.

A dark coloured sedan was seen leaving the area at the time.

Only a few minutes later, police received alarm activations at a second chemist on Seacombe Road, Darlington.

On this occasion, entry had been gained to the premises and a small amount of cash stolen.

Crime Scene Investigators will be attending the scene this morning.

Police have reviewed CCTV and believe that the same suspects are involved in both incidents.
