Somerville police caught a driver travelling more than 50km/h over the speed limit in Dandenong South yesterday.
Officers clocked a black Subaru WRX travelling along the Westernport Highway at 154km/h in a 100km/h zone about 3.30am.
Police intercepted the male driver on the South Gippsland Highway.
He returned a positive drug test, and a search of his vehicle located a quantity of methylamphetamine.
A 31-year-old Springvale man was remanded in custody and sentenced to two months prison.
His car was impounded, and licence suspended for 12 months.
