Geelong Highway Patrol officers have charged a man after an extended follow in Geelong last night.
Officers first spotted a motorcycle travelling at speed along the Princes Freeway in Lara about 10pm.
Air Wing was called in to assist as the solo weaved through the streets of North Geelong, Corio, and Ocean Grove.
Police will allege the solo reached speeds of up to 300km/hr.
Officers observed the motorcycle come to a stop outside an address on Christies Road in Leopold about 10.30pm.
The rider, a 27-year-old man, was arrested at the scene.
He has since been charged with conduct endangering life, as well as several other traffic offences.
He was bailed to appear before Geelong Magistrates' Court on 8 May, while his motorcycle was impounded at a cost of $1305.
