Mosman Council is undertaking a streetscape upgrade at Spit East to improve the amenity and safety of the area and enhance the site as the northern gateway to Mosman.
The Spit East Streetscape Upgrade is now in Stage 2. Stage 1 involving an indented bus bay, new bus shelter, paved laneway, pedestrian path, new signage and landscaping at the northern end of Spit East near the foreshore was completed in February.
The second and final stage, now underway, will include an upgraded laneway, footpath, additional parking, loading zones, signage and landscaping at the southern end of the Spit East precinct.
