Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a bushfire burning near Springbrook Road, near the Springbrook Visitor Centre, south of the intersection of Pine Creek Road. There is no threat to property at this time, but smoke may affect the immediate and surrounding area. Affected residents should close windows and doors and keep medications close by if suffering from a respiratory condition. Smoke can decrease visibility, so motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat, they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
