A teenage girl has been arrested following an assault at Andrews Farm early this morning.
Just after 2.50am on Monday 26 December police responded to reports of a domestic assault at a home on Petherton Road.
On arrival the patrol located a man aged 55 from the home with stab wounds.
The man was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life threatening injuries.
A 16-year-old girl from the home was arrested and is currently being spoken to by police and is expected to be charged later today.
Police wish to reassure the public this incident is not random and both parties are known to each other.
