Stabbing at Semaphore, South Australia

Police are investigating an incident at Semaphore last night where a teenager was stabbed.

At 7pm Monday 28 June emergency services were called to Bower Road, Semaphore South after reports a teenager had been with two friends near the Semaphore Jetty when he was assaulted by a group of males not known to him. After the assault his friends attempted to drive him to hospital, but stopped on Bower Road and called an ambulance.

When police arrived they found a 16-year-old Salisbury East boy with a single stab wound to his upper leg. He was conveyed to the RAH with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects, who are described as a group of men of African appearance had left the area prior to police arrival.
