Stabbing incident at Elizabeth South, South Australia

A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed at Elizabeth South today.

Just before 10am on Tuesday 10 September, police and ambulance officers responded to reports that a man had been stabbed on Bubner Street.

When police arrived, police discovered that a man had sustained two stab wounds to the back.

The 34-year-old man was treated by paramedics before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. His injuries are not considered life threatening.

A 33-year-old woman from Elizabeth South has been arrested over the incident and is currently being questioned by police.

The incident is not considered random with the woman and man known to each other.
