The Secretary of the former Department of State Growth, Craig Limkin, has left the Tasmanian State Service.
Over the last 7 years, Mr Limkin has made a significant contribution to Tasmania through his leadership at the Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Department of State Growth, advancing major priorities, and negotiating various intergovernmental agreements for the benefit of Tasmania.
Of particular note, in 2023 Mr Limkin was awarded the Public Service Medal for his outstanding public service in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as the Tasmanian State Recovery Adviser.
Mr Limkin's commitment to serve the Tasmanian community has been front and centre across a range of critical and complex issues and I and my colleagues thank him for his service to our State and wish him well in the next stage of his career.
