As stated by a Queensland Rail spokesperson:
Queensland Rail accepts, but respectfully disagrees with, the decision made by the Fair Work Commission overnight (Thursday 14 May) to allow union Protected Industrial Action to continue while negotiations are underway.
The unions will characterise this as a win, but the public has lost.
We will never agree with the assertion that it is in the public's interests to disrupt their lives and limit their access to their public transport system.
We remain committed to negotiating in good faith and doing everything possible to minimise impacts on our customers and getting back to running full services as soon as possible.
We will continue to keep our customers updated as to how their rail network is being impacted as a result of ongoing union protected industrial action.
