On behalf of the Tasmanian majority Liberal Government, I congratulate and thank Geoff Page for his exceptional service as President of the Liberal Party for the past seven years.
In his time as President, the Party has formed majority government in the Tasmanian Parliament at both the 2014 and 2018 elections, with a clear plan to deliver a brighter future for our state.
Geoff is not only a great Liberal Party member, but also a very proud and passionate Tasmanian, and has always put the best interests of our state first.
The position of President is a voluntary position that demands a significant personal commitment, and I thank Geoff and his family for their sacrifice in his undertaking of this important job.
