Stealing, Alexandra Hills

Police are seeking public assistance to help identify a group of men following a stealing matter that occurred earlier this month.

On June 8 at around 9.45pm, two men entered a service station on Cambridge Drive when one of the men distracted the attendant.

The second man then went behind the counter and removed the cash register and cut the wire securing it to the counter.

The pair then fled the store on foot and were last seen heading towards Finucane Road.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.

Police have issued footage to help identify two men who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The first man is described as in his late 20s/early 30s, around 180cm tall, shoulder length black mullet style hair that is shaved on both sides and was last seen wearing a navy-blue t-shirt, black sneakers and a black cap.

The second man is described as Caucasian in appearance, in his 20s, around 170cm tall and has brown hair and a moustache and goatee.

He was last seen wearing a red cap, black sunglasses on his head, a black long-sleeved t-shirt with a Mambo motif on the back, yellow coloured shorts and white sneakers.

Anyone who recognises the men is being urged to contact police.
