Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Steven Wintle.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of the 44-year-old in relation to an alleged sexual assault.
Wintle is described as Caucasian, with a solid build and short brown hair.
He is known to frequent the Endeavour Hills, Mt Eliza, Dandenong and La Trobe Valley areas.
Police have released an image of Wintle in the hope someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
