Stolen BMW recovered, man charged over break and enter - Earlwood

A man will appear in court today charged over an alleged aggravated break and enter in Sydney's Inner West last week.

Police have been told about 10.45pm on Monday 11 November 2019, five unknown men forced entry into a house on Keith Street, Earlwood, and stole a BMW X5, documents, wallets and cash. No one was home at the time.

Officers from Burwood Police Area Command were notified and attended. A crime scene was established, and an investigation commenced.

Following inquiries, a search warrant was executed at a house on Wattle Grove Drive, Wattle Grove, about 12pm yesterday (Tuesday 19 November 2019).

A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Liverpool Police Station.

During the search, police located and seized a BMW X5, cash, firearm parts, ammunition, handcuffs, a baton, and prohibited drugs believed to be cocaine and testosterone.

The man was charged with goods in personal custody suspected being stolen, possess prohibited drug and possess prescribed restricted substance (x2).

He was also charged with two outstanding warrants for robbery, traffic and assault related offences. The man was refused bail to appear before Liverpool Local Court today (Wednesday 20 November 2019).
