Two people have been charged following the theft of a vehicle and a number of other offences in the north Brisbane area today, 12 May.
Police will allege at approximately 1:30am, a black Range Rover was stolen from a residence on Mackellar Street in Teneriffe.
Just after 10am, officers sighted the vehicle around the north Brisbane area and began tracking the vehicle towards Moreton Bay.
Around 10.40am, it is alleged the Range Rover was involved in a traffic crash with a Toyota Camry and Subaru Crosstrek on Pinacle Street, Brendale, before fleeing the scene.
A short time later on Leitchs Road, the Range Rover struck a police vehicle before coming to a stop.
No serious injuries were reported in either incident.
The occupants of the Range Rover, a man and a women, were then taken into custody at the scene.
The driver, a 28-year-old New Farm man has been charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit, unlawful use if a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving of motor vehicle without driver license, wilful damage and possessing dangerous drugs.
His passenger, a 20-year-old Morayfield woman, has been charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle and two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
They are due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on 13 May.
