Stolen car used in ram raid at Cowra

Police are appealing for information after a stolen car was allegedly used in a ram raid in the state's Central West.

Between 9.30pm Sunday (4 August 2019) and 5.20am yesterday (Monday 5 August 2019), a grey Mazda sedan was stolen from a home on Wellington Street at Cowra.

About 11.25pm the same evening, it is alleged the stolen vehicle was reversed through the front doors of a business on Kendal Street at Cowra.

A 2014-model Kawazaki motorcycle was then stolen by being ridden from the scene.

The stolen vehicle was also driven from the scene and was located on Fitzroy Street around 11am yesterday (Monday 5 August 2019).

Officers attached to Chifley Police District seized the vehicle for forensic examination.

Investigations continue.
