Stolen firearms - Leanyer

Northern Territory Police have located a number of firearms which were allegedly stolen from a residence in Leanyer.

Nine bolt action rifles and a gun safe were stolen from the premises during an unlawful entry between Friday 10 January and Monday 13 January 2020.

Eight of nine firearms were recovered along with an unrelated firearm from a residence in Bellamack today. The ninth fireman remains outstanding. No arrests have been made at this time however police have identified a suspect.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident continue to investigate.
