Stolen Motor Vehicle At Tennant Creek 21 July

The Northern Territory Police Force is investigating after a vehicle was stolen and sighted driving dangerously in Tennant Creek overnight.

At 1:10am this morning, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report that a black Nissan Navara had been stolen from a residence on Shamrock Street. The vehicle was subsequently sighted by police a short time later driving in a dangerous manner near a service station on Paterson Street.

The Navara fled the scene, and a pursuit was not initiated for safety reasons.

The vehicle and the unknown offenders remain outstanding at this time.
