Stolen Motorcycle Crash At St Marys

Police are looking for a rider who crashed a stolen motorcycle at St Marys this morning.

Emergency services responded to reports that a motorcycle had crashed into a guard rail and then burst into flames on South Road, St Marys, near Selgar Avenue about 5.20am on Monday 8 December.

The motorcyclist fled the scene before police arrived.

Police searched the area but could not locate the rider. He may have sustained serious injuries in the crash, and is urged to seek medical attention.

The white Honda motorcycle had been reported stolen from Whyalla in June and is bearing stolen registration plates.
