Police have charged two teenagers following a hit and run traffic crash involving a stolen vehicle in Helensvale last night, July 5.
It will be alleged around 8pm, a stolen white Mercedes GLC crashed into a tow truck at a service station on Siganto Drive and left the scene without stopping.
Police allegedly located the stolen Mercedes around 8.40pm, parked on Ken Crescent with two teenagers inside.
Two 17-year-old boys were taken into custody a short time later.
The Mercedes was allegedly stolen from a Columbus Drive residence in Hollywell earlier that morning.

Both boys were refused police bail and are due to appear before Southport Childrens Court on July 7.
