Police have charged a 38-year-old man following an investigation into a stolen vehicle in Toowoomba earlier this morning, April 9.
At approximately 1.30am officers were called to a Healy Street address where it is alleged, they located a stolen motorbike in a garage.
When officers attempted to arrest the man, it is alleged he fled on foot into neighbouring properties.
He was located a short time later attempting to hide on a roof where he again ran from officers before Toowoomba dog squad tracked the man to a property on South Street where he was arrested.
A Toowoomba South man has been charged with seven offences including three counts of unlawfully enter or remain in dwelling or yard and one count each of assault police, obstruct, possess tainted property and injuring a police dog.
He is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court today, April 9.
