Our Creative Stonnington: Arts and Culture Strategy 2023-2026 has recently been endorsed by Council and can be downloaded from our website.
The strategy is the result of many hours of work, research and community and industry consultation, we thank everyone involved and are very proud of the outcome. It outlines our clear priorities, focusing on, and reflecting the needs and aspirations of, our communities, places and industries, as well as the creative practitioners who make up this dynamic sector.
It sets the direction for our creative future and provides a roadmap for our arts and cultural infrastructure, programs and partnerships over the next three years, with a focus on renewal and opportunity in a time of extraordinary change.
With a special focus on resilience, renewal and revitalisation, the strategy details how we will build on our strengths and continue to grow as a thriving creative city.
The three priorities identified as key to this strategy include:
- communities connected through creativity
- vibrant places that attract discovery
- dynamic cultural and creative industries.
Creative Stonnington is our principal strategy for arts and cultural development and supports the Future Stonnington, our Community Vision 2040 and Council Plan 2021-25.
