ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

A slow moving tropical low is located in the eastern Gregory. Bands of showers and thunderstorms around the low bring the risk of heavy rainfall tonight. Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.

Locations which may be affected include Borroloola, Mallapunyah, McArthur River and Carpentaria District south of Ngukurr.

A Severe Weather Warning and Flood Watch/Warnings are also current in the Northern Territory.
