Kiama Council crews are monitoring local roads and other infrastructure during the current strong wind and heavy rain.

Swamp Road remains closed with extensive floodwaters covering the road.

Foxground and Wallaby Hill roads are also closed due to damage from recent storms.

Council advises motorists to use caution, especially in low-lying areas, with rising water levels covering sections of local roads.

Local beaches have been closed with strong seas also forecast to once again to erode beaches and wash up debris.

Sports fields also remain closed.

Residents and visitors are urged to refer to Council's Disaster Dashboard for updates on local roads and highways, as well as flood and storm warnings, power outages and beach conditions.
