ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:
A moist airmass combined with a tropical low in the south of the state is combining to produce severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Alice Springs.
64.0 mm was recorded at Bond Springs Turnoff in the 2 hours to 05:00 am.
55.0 mm was recorded at Wigley Gorge in the 2 hours to 05:00 am.
