ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:
Heavy rainfall with thunderstorms over the northwestern Barkly this evening.
A trough system over the central NT embedded in a very humid and unstable airmass is likely to produce slow-moving clusters of thunderstorms and heavy rainfall this evening.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.
Locations which may be affected include Elliott and Renner Springs.
