Stormwater pipework have begun at Stuarts Point

Works to remediate damaged stormwater piping has begun in Stuarts Point.

The project will carry out remediation work to four areas of damaged stormwater pipelines under Kimpton street (West), Kimpton street, Kimpton street (Headwall) and Stuarts Point Sports Field.

Commencement has begun with establishment of site facilities.

The site works will include the provision of traffic management, earthworks, stormwater pipework and pipe relining work, as well as pavement reconstruction at parts of Kimpton Street.

Works are expected to be completed in early 2024.
