The Sunshine Coast First Nations Business Showcase will bring together First Nations businesses, entrepreneurs, industry, government and community for an afternoon of connection, culture and collaboration on Tuesday, October 14 at The Station, Birtinya.
The showcase will feature an expo of more than 40 First Nations businesses with markets stalls, cultural performances, expert panels, business pitches and tailored masterclasses - all designed to support and promote First Nations businesses.
Sunshine Coast Mayor Rosanna Natoli said the event was a powerful platform to honour the achievements of First Nations entrepreneurs in our region.
"This is more than just a showcase of success - it's also a space for connection, culture and meaningful collaboration," Mayor Natoli said.
"For businesses, this is a unique opportunity to meet a diverse range of First Nations enterprises, explore potential partnerships, and discover innovative products and services.
"Whether you're looking to diversify your supply chain, learn from Indigenous-led innovation, or build meaningful relationships that support reconciliation in action, this event offers practical pathways to do just that."
The event aims to showcase the diversity, expertise and excellence of First Nations businesses across industries by strengthening procurement pathways that connect them with government, corporate and community buyers.
