Strike Force Vulcan officers are investigating a bushfire that occurred in Dianella around 4.20pm yesterday afternoon, Friday 24 January 2020.
The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious and it is believed the fire started in bushland between Dianella Drive and Gay Street.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services extinguished the fire that had burnt through three hectares of bushland.
Investigators wish to speak to the owner/driver of an old brown coloured sedan that has been seen in the vicinity the last few months.
Any members of the public who were driving in area between 4pm and 5pm, who have dash-cam vision of the area is asked to come forward.
