This year's Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey saw the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council perform strongly across a range of areas.

The results show a seven-point increase in waste management and a two-point increase in overall performance – both results equal to or better than the state-wide average.

The results also show a seven-point increase in satisfaction with the condition of sealed local roads.

Overall, perceptions of Council's performance across most service areas have remained consistent or significantly improved in the past 12 months.

The Victorian Government survey, conducted by telephone across Peninsula households in February and March this year, measures community perception of the performance of Victorian councils across a range of measures.
