Structure fire in Livingstone

Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service responded to a structure fire at Livingstone overnight.

At around 8.45pm, Palmerston Fire Station were dispatched to a property on Livingstone Road after a call to 000 reported the fire.

Firefighters arrived on scene approximately 30 minutes later to find the structure well alight, with flames coming from the roof and nearby vehicles alight.

Crews extinguished the blaze. The structure was destroyed in the fire.

St John Ambulance, Bushfires NT volunteers, Power and Water Corporation and NT Police were also in attendance. St John Ambulance attended to a resident who received minor burns as a result of the fire.

A crime scene has been declared and investigations are underway.
