Occupants of the property were able to safely evacuate the residence.
Emergency services attended the scene and NTFRS members extinguished the fire.
The NT Police Force also attended the scene and established a crime scene. Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
NT Fire and Rescue Service remind the community to ensure smoke alarms are installed, maintained and working, and to have a home fire escape plan in place.
