Sunshine Coast Sees Dangerous Driving, Police Assault Incidents

Queensland Police have charged a man with several offences following a disturbance at Mountain Creek yesterday, which led to a vehicle being tracked to Doonan.

The 39-year-old Mountain Creek man has been charged with five counts of serious assault police, three counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle, and one count each of unlicensed driving, going armed so as to cause fear, possess unauthorised medicine, armed robbery, unlawful entry of a vehicle, unlawful possession of a weapon.

He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court today, February 15.
