Council will provide $13,000 in financial support to bring a five-day national indigenous tournament to Cairns in December.
The 2019 Australian Indigenous Basketball National Tournament will be held at Cairns Basketball from 15-20 December and will bring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander junior and senior basketball teams from across the country to the city.
Each age division (U14, U17 & Open) will consist both male and female teams.
