Monash University offers its support to our students, staff, alumni, and the wider community directly or indirectly impacted by the escalating situation in Iran. We acknowledge the distress our students and staff from the region, and those with family and friends in the affected areas, may be experiencing at this challenging time.
We recognise that the situation may be impacting people in different ways, and support is available for anyone who needs it.
We have a suite of supports available including;
- University counselling services for staff and students.
- 24-hour services for emergency and after-hours mental health support.
- Students may wish to consider applying for extensions and special consideration
- The Monash Humanitarian Scholarship is available for eligible students.
- The Employee Assistance Program is available to staff and their immediate families on 1300 360 364.
