Supporting multicultural communities through Covid

Cardinia Shire Council is pleased to announce the launch of the COVID-19 Multicultural Community Connection Grants Program.

The $50k program will provide COVID-19 response and recovery support to local multicultural communities including access to one-off payments of up to $5,000 for Cardinia Shire multicultural community groups, services and non-for-profit organisations.

The program will support culturally and linguistically diverse communities (CALD) to develop appropriate processes and procedures to aid in COVID-19 recovery and to keep our more vulnerable residents safe and connected to the community.

Applications open Tuesday 1 February and will stay open until all $50k of the funds are exhausted.

The grants program is made possible with grant funding received from the state government's Department Family, Fairness and Housing.
