The Department of Environment and Science (DES) is investigating a suspected crocodile attack on two men on August 6, 2021 in the Lockhart River area of Cape York Peninsula.
At 4.54pm, emergency services were notified that two men had sustained injuries.
One man has critical injuries, the second man has serious injuries and both will be treated by emergency services.
