Police are investigating a suspicious fire overnight at Marden.
Just before 2am on Thursday 11 February, patrols and MFS crews were called to a unit on River Street, following reports of a fire. Fire Cause Investigators attended the scene and determined the blaze started on a couch outside the kitchen window.
Thankfully the occupant was not home at the time and damage is estimated at around $60,000.
